Transfer the Rhinestones onto the Item
1. Prepare the workspace: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and heat-resistant — cotton, linen, denim, nylon, leather, and wood are perfect.
2. Arrange the rhinestones on the stencil using transfer film: The sticky side of the film should face up. Place the printed stencil design under the film. Secure the print relative to the film with tape or small pieces of transfer film. Use a wax pencil to carefully place the rhinestones “face down” (glue side facing you). This method is quick and convenient.
3. Transfer onto the fabric: Place the film with rhinestones onto the fabric so that the adhesive side touches the surface of the item. Put a sheet of paper under the fabric to prevent glue from seeping through. Place another sheet of paper on top to protect the iron or heat press.
4. Heating: Use an iron (medium heat, “two dots,” no steam) or a heat press. Heat for 45 seconds at 160 °C, applying firm pressure.
5. Cool and check: After cooling, make sure the rhinestones are firmly attached. If necessary, reheat once more.
6. ! Important tip: Before working on the finished item, always make a test transfer on a scrap piece of similar fabric.
7. Care for rhinestone items: Hand wash is recommended.
